When we kept driving after dinner it started absolutely pouring rain. Paired with the fact that there seems to be nothing in Michigan, the darkness was somewhat terrifying. Eventually it dropped off a bit and was easier to drive, and we ended up on Friday night in Sarnia, Ontario (which Paul insists on calling Narnia).
Yesterday we woke up and drove through Ontario, which, turns out, looks a lot like Michigan until we got over to the Eastern side, where we could see Lake Ontario as we drove along. We stopped in Niagara Falls on the Canadian side, which, like my Mom said, was interesting for about 10 minutes. Actually, we were interested for about 45 minutes before we headed on to Buffalo.
We got into Boston about 11:30 last night and today our plan is to relax, go out for Brunch, and perhaps start packing. While in Boston we've got plans to see old friends (from Olaf) and new ones (from BU) so I'll keep everyone updated on our adventures! We're heading back toward Chicago next weekend.
I'm so excited for you guys! It was great to talk to you (and see Paul's foot) on skype last weekend too!! Good luck with the rest of your packing...
